Howdy there! Here's a new painting for my upcoming solo show set for December 12th at Schmancy in Seattle. I realize that's a couple months off yet, but I have to get all my paintings done by the end of October to have them photographed and sent to the framer in time. I'll remind you again later, but please mark your calendar or write it on one of your hundreds of yellow post-its!
4" x 6" cel vinyl acrylic on watercolor paper. You may recognize this guy from a doodle in this post awhile back.

very cool
Nice! I'm looking forward to your show! I feel your pain about getting things done even though the show is months away. I have to have everything done for mine by 10/10 and the show is in January. Is Schmancy sending out mailers for the show? How do I make sure I get one?
Oh and have you thought about putting off to the side of your blog the date of your upcoming show?
Thanks Damon and Chris!
Good advice about a little callout feature, Chris. Will do. I'm not sure if Schmancy will send out mailers, but if not, I'll have some promo cards printed and hand them out around town. I'll get you one! You should get me one of yours too, please!
I think this is my all time favorite, i love everything about it, the detail on the ground, the smirk on the turtles face and the suprised snail. How much?
You just keep getting better and better man. Loving all these new pieces. Great shapes and textures!

I'm happy you like it so much, Michelle! I'll figure out prices soon and let you know.
Thanks for stopping by, Justin! And thanks for the very kind compliment.
Arg! Conflicted. Would love to go to your show, but it starts the weekend before finals.
Love the textures, man.
Love your art, I'll be a regular here!
very cool. I love it.
I see you like painting snails now :)
Thanks much, fellas! Glad you like it.
Nicolas - Hah! Yeah! Well, actually the original drawing for this was finished before the snails painting, but who's counting. :)
