After nearly a year of waiting for it to be in stock, I just received a copy of the most amazing book I've ever owned. It's the monolithic The Complete Christmas Card Art of Eyvind Earle. This book is nearly 20lbs of absolutely magnificent artwork, beautifully reproduced... 833 images of Earle's Christmas cards. I actually started getting chills about 3/4 of the way through it.
I got it for a steal on Amazon.ca. The conversion rate is decent right now for us Yanks and at $167 CDN it's a bargain compared to it's $250 USD original price. So if you don't mind waiting, it's definitely worth your while.
UPDATE: Looks like it's no longer available, folks. Congrats to the people who were able to order the last few at this price. If you're still interested in purchasing the book, you can get it here at full price.
Still not convinced? Check these photos I snapped.

My pleasure, guys.
Ian - will do! And by babe, I assume you mean my wife. I'll definitely try to keep her from slobbering on it.
John - Thanks for the update, and sorry you couldn't get one. I've added a new link to the post if you still want to buy one (but at cover price).
Oh, wow! I just stumbled across your blog, and I love these images! Thanks for introducing me to a great artist.
Eyvind Earle was a genius! I only discovered him a couple of months ago, but now he seems to be everywhere. I have to get my hands on that book!
Maybe some sort of a book timeshare would be possible. Pay $20 and you can keep it for a week. Something like that.
