3G Show at G1988 LA

Here's one of my pieces for the upcoming Autumn Society 3G show at G1988. Inspired by the deleted scene on the DVD... funny that they didn't edit out Data's line about said Octopus, which was what got me curious enough to check the deleted scenes in the first place.  I then thought, "If this octopus has been living in the cave all along, surely he'd be a pirate." Makes perfect sense, right?

A big thank you to Joe for the invitation. Stay tuned for the Gremlins and Ghostbusters paintings.

"The Giant Octopus Was Very Scary" - 12" x 12" cel vinyl acrylic on Claybord
P.S. I posted a couple process shots over on the Autumn Society blog, if you care to check them out.

This is amazing! Those clouds are incredibly realistic!

How do you get into so many shows - I'm jealous!

Turned out just awesome man.
Where do you get your cel-vinyl? Tiffany's been on the lookout for some, maybe she got the idea from you...

Thanks a lot everybody!

Juan - Thank you! Just a little longer.

Damon - Thanks!

Mary - Thanks, Sis!

Chris - Glad to hear it!

Robert - Cheers! Happy you like it.

Michele - Thanks! Honestly, I've just been really lucky to have my work noticed by people who are kind enough to keep inviting me to shows!

Tom - Thanks, buddy! Nobody carries it locally, so Tiffany ought to head to Cartoon Color.
