WOW! These are all really Fantastic!!! I really wish I could make the show, but I'm too far and not financially endowed enough for a trip! (also, still currently no car for me)
I truly love these, and wish I had money to buy one, cause they're sooo RAD!
I'm gonna need to learn some stuff from you!
I love it! These are all fantastic creatures.
wow- i love these!! Great shapes and color, and love the humor in all of them! my fave is the chicken of the sea one : D
geez these are fabulous!!!!!!
I'll join the crowd- these really are great. It's be wonderful to have them all hanging next to each other on a wall...like...in my house haha.
Congrats on the gallery show...have you thought of selling prints as well?
You are a master! What a beautiful gallery of work. "Raging Mountaintop" is my favorite. I love the pastel-like textures you're achieving in these pieces.
Gorgeous! Not a lemon in the whole lot, Drake.
I Fall in love by your art! See you soon!
Digging the viking and chicken pieces. What's "deep cradle Aquaboard"? Have an awesome showing.
Thanks for the enthusiastic words, everybody! I'm happy to know you like them.
Robert - I will take these secrets to my grave. Only joking. Anytime, man.
Dumpster - Thanks!
Daisy - Thank you for the kind words! I have a great time coming up with (hopefully) funny ideas.
Brad - Thank you!
Renee - They'd love to be hanging in a good home like yours. Prints are planned for a couple... I'm way behind on that front.
Michael - You flatter me, Sir. I'm no master by any means, but am enjoying the learning process.
Steve - Thanks, man! Glad to hear it! Your feedback is always appreciated.
Claudio - Thanks for the nice comment and for stopping by.
Andy - Thanks! Aquabord is made by Ampersand and available at most art stores. Formerly called Claybord. I'm using the textured variety.
...and she still doesn't do windows. A wonderfully thoughtful piece and very funny!
Love your paintings, they're so great and funny.
Your colors and your mediums are so great too…
(I put your blog as "blog of the week" on mine ;-) )
