This is what happens when I'm trying to sleep at 4am and a vision pops into my head. I run downstairs and paint it down as quickly as possible. This occurs fairly frequently.
I'll do a cleaned up version of this one later, but I thought it was appropriate to share today.
Happy Halloween!

Wow! I'm am glad you found my blog, because it brought me here. I love your work it's very appealing, fun, and most importantly puts a smile on my face.
It's also great that you share what inspires you, awesome blog.

Great stuff here, man!
Cheers.
hey dude, nice work.
just wondering if you knew or could find out, how many bgs Scott painted in total for Clone Wars...just watching it and the thought popped in my head.
Cheers, guys and gals! Glad you found it interesting and thank you all for commenting.
Adele, I have no idea how many Scott painted. I've just seen online examples of 6 he did, including those posted below. What I do know is that Scott, Richard Daskas, Raymond Zibach, Wade Huntsman (and one other painter who escapes me) painted all of the color keys and backgrounds in-house. A pretty rare feat these days, I bet.
If you're still curious to know, I'll try to remember to bring it up in a future correspondence.
Hey Drake! Would you like to try to paint some of the layouts of my upcoming short in the same size as this peace? Just to try out, I like to see your vision of coloring and painting! I understand if you are too busy!
I love it! Yeah for inspiration painting!
Thanks David and Twozdai!
