Legs O'Brien

I did this doodle for fun awhile back and wasn't gonna post it, but in light of current events it has become quite appropriate. It was done while watching him at his newly former post, but the subject was a clip I saw of him while he was doing the Conan show where he was filmed playing tennis in short shorts. In case you were wondering "Do those legs go all the way up?". Yes. They really do.

Goin' Solo

It's official. Today is my first day of self-employment! I decided to break away from the stable work environment to focus more on being a painter and to take on freelance design work as needed. I'm very excited to do my own thing and ready to spend time becoming the artist I'd like to be. Expect more frequent art updates from now on.

T'n'T Show

Got on down to PDX over the holiday weekend to see friends and to catch Tim and Tigerlily's show at the Grass Hut. Tim was gracious (he may be one of the nicer people on this planet) and let me chat his ear off about arty things. We drank some Makers with my brother, Erik, and Tim was kind enough to draw an awesome doodle in my sketchbook. I told you he was nice! Anyway, check the show online for Tim's and Tigerlily's great paintings and drawings (including the latest J500's).

Teenage Mutant Ninja Doodle

Went with a rougher style than my usual because it fits the mood better I think. It's also somewhat reminiscent of the old Eastman and Laird comics, which I used to be a fan of.
