Emerald City Comic Con

Hey gang,

I'll be making a visit to the good ol' Northwest for the Emerald City Comic Con this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I plan to be selling a bunch of prints, some medium-size originals and will be doing some little, business card-size paintings at the table. Please come by and have a chat if you're gonna be around!

I'll be sharing BOOTH 108 with my pals Andrew Wilson, Wade Schin, Mark Behm and (new ECCC debutante) Martin Ontiveros! Sure to be a kick in the trousers.

To start it off, here's a robutt with a slight resemblance to a well known Seattle landmark (and in an emerald-y color scheme to boot).

Beetle Card

An idea I scratched down awhile back and finally decided to finish... just because. The nice thing about painting so small is that you can get them done quickly and still feel like you accomplished something!

Bird Card

New one. Been buried under a ton of digital freelance work lately, so it was high time I busted out the paint brushes again.

I Like Robots

Hope you've all gotten over your candy comas. If you have any leftovers, please feel free to share since I didn't get any treats this year.

Here's a tiny painting I did yesterday to keep my brushes from getting rusty.

Final 3

Three little cards that squeaked into the show. Available at the purchase site HERE. If last year's solo show was any indicator, these may go quickly.

Perhaps I'll see some of you this Thursday!

A Few Cards

I wanted to get more of these done before our trip, but I took on a design project that ate up my time. These are the 3 I did finish.

A three-headed mutant bird. If you thought to yourself, "I bet we'll see this character again sometime...", you'd be right.

Scary trees.

Alternate ninja color-way.

All are 2" x 3.5" cel vinyl acrylic on watercolor paper. You know the drill. :)

I'd like to thank all the folks who have been stopping by and leaving such nice comments! And even the ones who don't comment. I really appreciate your visits and your feedback!

And now... off to L.A.!
