Something Different

On my way home from work today, I passed a couple nice scenes with trees. They were a beautiful mix of the remnants of winter and the beginnings of spring. This particular one caught my eye, so when I got home I said hi to my lady, threw my bag down and began painting like a man possessed. I didn't even change clothes or sit down the whole time, and had fun with some different sponges which is something I'd like to practice more.

Bit of a break from my norm... but not terribly surprising to those who know I have a tree fetish, I guess.

Cel vinyl acrylic on 14 x 11 bristol paper.

Beautiful trees. They make me miss the countryside and the mushroom picking!
